Apple could launch its first iPads with Mini-LED display as well as the AirPods 3 true wireless earphones in the first half of 2021, according to the latest research note by highly-regarded analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of TFI Securities. The research note to investors focuses on Taiwan-based OEM Career Technology, which Kuo suggests will be a key supply chain partner of Apple for the upcoming product cycle. The new iPads and AirPods 3 are expected to go into mass production in early 2021, and could be launched in the first half of the year itself.Mini-LED display on the new iPadsAccording to a report by MacRumors, Kuo states that Career Technology will receive orders for certain components related to the manufacture of a Mini-LED iPad that will go into mass production in the first half of 2021. This means that the launch of the new iPad could be in the first half of 2021 itself; a March or April launch would not be difficult to envision.- Advertisement – Will Apple Silicon Lead to Affordable MacBooks in India? We discussed this on Orbital, our weekly technology podcast, which you can subscribe to via Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, or RSS, download the episode, or just hit the play button below. Mini-LED is a new display technology that offers many of the benefits of OLED, by using many individual LEDs to produce the picture in a similar manner to OLED displays. Although every individual pixel is not independently controlled, the technology functions in a similar manner, and is said to be less expensive to manufacture as well. Apple is expected to push Mini-LED display technology for many of its upcoming products starting with the iPad range in early 2021.Apple AirPods 3 expected to launch in 2021The report further states that Kuo also expects the Apple AirPods 3 to launch in the first half of 2021. The new true wireless earphones will have a different design to the Apple AirPods 2, with interchangeable ear tips and a shorter stem, just like on the AirPods Pro. However, the key differentiating factor here will be the lack of premium features such as active noise cancellation, which will maintain the AirPods Pro as the flagship product in Apple’s true wireless audio range.Career Technology is expected to receive component orders for the AirPods 3 in addition to the Mini-LED iPads, and will also likely benefit for any possible adoption of Mini-LED displays on the next iPhones as well. Kuo’s predictions point towards Mini-LED displays being adopted heavily by Apple in 2021, and the analyst has often been right with his research and predictions.- Advertisement – – Advertisement –
The report includes nine recommendations to correct the various problems. The FDA disagreed with four of the recommendations, including the advice that the FDA should test feed samples when it inspects feed businesses. Tests cannot detect the prions that cause BSE, but they can detect animal material, which would help in verifying inspection results, the GAO contends. Some feed businesses have never been inspected, while others have not been inspected in more than 5 years, according to the GAO report, issued in March. In addition, the FDA does not usually test cattle feed for banned material, and the agency has not always alerted other federal agencies and the states when it learned that cattle might have been given feed containing such material. GAO report “Mad cow disease: FDA’s management of the feed ban has improved, but oversight weaknesses continue to limit program effectiveness”http://www.gao.gov/new.items/d05101.pdf Sens. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, and Dick Durbin, D-Ill., requested the GAO report. To gather information, the agency reviewed 404 FDA inspection reports, interviewed FDA officials, and watched FDA and state inspectors conduct 19 feed-facility inspections in 12 states, the report says. The GAO also surveyed state agency officials in 38 states that inspected feed facilities under contracts with the FDA last year. The report says that in commenting on a draft version, the FDA said it believed “that the weaknesses we identified are not sufficiently material to place U.S. cattle at risk for BSE and that its risk-based inspection approach assures adequate oversight of the feed-ban rule.” Apr 26, 2005 (CIDRAP News) Despite some improvements since 2002, the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) enforcement of rules to keep bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) from spreading through cattle feed still has serious gaps, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) reported recently. The report says the FDA has remedied some problems that the GAO had described in a report in early 2002. The agency now has uniform methods for inspecting feed facilities and training both FDA and state inspectors, plus better methods for tracking inspection results. The FDA has not always alerted the USDA and states when it learned that cattle might have been given feed containing banned material, even though the FDA’s guidelines call for such notifications. In one case, an inspector found that a firm had been using banned material for nearly a year; the firm issued a recall, but the FDA did not notify the USDA or the state. “We believe that the problems described in this report are serious and that, given the fact that BSE has been discovered in North American cattle, breaches in FDA’s oversight of the feed-ban rule place US cattle at risk for BSE,” the report states. But the FDA said the problems are not significant enough to pose a serious risk. About 14,800 feed manufacturers and other feed-industry businesses have been inspected so far, but the FDA knows there are others that have not been inspected, and it has no “uniform approach” for finding them. The FDA has not reinspected about 2,800 feed businesses in the past 5 years. Many of those were farms that are considered low-risk, but about 400 were feed mills, where the risk of violations is deemed higher. The FDA has given incomplete information about feed-ban compliance to Congress and the public. For example, in January 2004 the agency reported a 99% compliance rate but failed to note that the rate was based on inspections of only about 570 firms. And in some cases, FDA has counted firms as being in compliance even when the firms have placed no warning labels on feeds that contain prohibited material. See also: The FDA’s inspection guidelines do not call for routine testing of cattle feed for banned material. FDA officials said the presence of exempt items such as cattle blood in feed makes such testing useless, but officials in some states said such testing would be useful at firms that say they don’t use exempt items. Under the FDA feed ban, firms must clearly label feed and feed ingredients that may contain banned proteins with the statement “Do not feed to cattle or other ruminants.” Firms also must have methods for preventing mixing if they handle feed for both nonruminant animals (whose feed is still allowed to contain cattle protein) and ruminants. The sole US case of BSE so far was discovered in December 2003 in a Canadian born cow in Washington state. The discovery promoted the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to add some new rules to keep infective material out of the food supply and to greatly increase testing of cattle for the disease. The USDA and FDA banned the use of specified-risk materialshigh-risk cattle parts such as the brain, spinal cord, and tonsilsin human food, but they can still be used in feed for nonruminant animals and pets. BSE, or mad cow disease, spreads when cattle eat feed containing the remains of infected animals. To prevent this, in 1997 the FDA banned the use of most proteins from mammals in feed for cattle and other ruminant animals. (However, cattle blood, milk, restaurant plate waste, and gelatin can still be used in cattle feed.) However, the GAO finds that the enforcement program still has serious weaknesses: Feb 28, 2002, CIDRAP News story “GAO says US barriers to mad cow disease are full of holes”http://www.cidrap.umn.edu/cidrap/content/other/bse/news/gaorept.html
The World Minigolf Championship for the Deaf, which is being held for the first time in Croatia and in the world, and the World Adventure Golf Master Championship, which brought together competitors from five continents, officially opened with a solemn ceremony on Friday night. The competitive part of both championships starts on Monday, September 11 and will last for two days, and the Croatian national team is also fighting for the title of the best. “This is the seventh Adventure Golf Master in which the largest number of competitors from different countries participates and has gathered the best golfers in the world. It is a great pleasure for us to play on great pitches that are located in a great environment. ” said Mislav Bjazic, president of the Croatian Golf Association. In addition to the World Minigolf Championship for the Deaf and the Adventure Golf Master, the World Minigolf Championship is next week at the Zaton Holiday Resort (September 20-23). “The best golfers came to Zaton Holiday Resort and we are proud to have fulfilled the initial goal, which is the participation of competitors from five continents and to connect all people in this way. We are happy that the team from Ghana, despite the visa problems, finally managed to come and participate. ” said Gerhard Zimmerman, president of the World Minigolf Federation. However, the story has already begun to develop well through various extensions, but the important point and message is how it came about. It was created out of a desire for such important quality content.Mini golf today is more than 12 holes and concrete slabs, today mini golf is a real experience and attractionIt is sometimes difficult to describe the experiences in words, so for me at the moment, to describe what Zaton Adventure Golf looks like, I am attaching pictures. As I have personally been to these stories, I can confirm with certainty that playing mini golf with the family in this setting was a real experience and an unforgettable experience, especially the drawbridge ride with my son. Experiences are remembered, and I remember Zaton. When I see those old concrete mini golf courses in our destinations today, darkness falls on my eyes, not to mention that most of them have not been renovated for years. But mini golf from the eighties has evolved into a real small town of experience and fun.Zaton Adventure Golf has miniature replicas of cultural and historical monuments on each of the 18 holes, from amphorae, the remains of a Roman temple from Nin, the Kaštelina tower to all the churches of St. Nikola, and Zaton Adventure Golf is the first competition course with an official license in Croatia. “Continuous investment in raising the quality of the tourist offer of the settlement as well as in the creation of new facilities is a sure direction towards strengthening before and after the season. By investing in mini golf courses, we have opened the way to a new tourist segment. It is worth mentioning that the Germans, our most numerous guests, are the number one golf nation”Said Ivo Bobić, director of the settlement. At the beginning of the year, the Grand Prix championship in mini golf was organized, and the above-mentioned World Minigolf Championship for the Deaf is underway, as well as the World Adventure Golf Master Championship, which serve as additional values and certainly one of the good links for extending the tourist season and additional earnings. . I constantly emphasize, so to repeat the material, the motive for coming is not accommodation, but a diverse, high quality and authentic content of a tourist destination. With the construction of two new mini golf courses, Zaton has become a unique center of its kind in the world, the only location with 3 types of courses; Miniature, Adventure and Felt Golf, and Zaton Adventure Golf investment is worth about two million kuna. Also, what is especially exciting is that the entire Mini golf course is unique because it tells an authentic story about the destination through the positioning of tourist facilities / symbols. By playing mini golf you can get acquainted with authentic features such as Nin Cathedral, Old Croatian ship Condura Croatica, Glagolitic alphabet, Kaštelina Tower, ancient port of Nin, ancient crane, millstone, etc. ako and if you get acquainted with the story, then you want to experience it live .Experience, experience and only a quality experience is the only recipe for long-term success, and modern mini golf courses are certainly all that – great additional quality content and experience.

Find out more about the public call in the attachment. “We announced a public call for support for TOP events in 2020 already in December this year, with the aim of leaving all interested parties enough time for quality project preparation and application. I am sure that this time we will receive a large number of applications, which will be an additional confirmation of the continuous development and improvement of the overall Croatian tourist offer with an emphasis on events as one of the main motives for coming to the destination.” stated the director of the CNTB Kristjan Staničić, adding that investments in facilities and infrastructure are a basic precondition for positioning Croatia as an attractive year-round destination. Legal and natural persons, ie companies, crafts, cooperatives, public institutions, cultural institutions, artistic organizations, local and regional self-government units and tourist boards may apply for the public invitation. The approved funds are intended for the costs of organizing events, such as rental of equipment, space and means of transport, procurement of materials, accommodation costs, contractor fees, promotional and other organizational activities. Grants are approved for the organization and realization of cultural, entertainment, eno-gastronomic, historical and traditional events that have been held at least twice in the last five years and have a strong promotional effect in the country and abroad. Also, the Tourist Board of the CNTB may exceptionally decide to support the event that is being held for the first time, and it is expected that it will greatly enrich the tourist offer of the destination. According to the CNTB, all nominated events will be evaluated through criteria such as importance for creating the motive for the arrival of guests, importance for the development of destination tourist offer and promotion of Croatia abroad, the nature of the event, content and quality, period and media advertising plan. . The Croatian National Tourist Board has announced a public call for support for TOP events, through which grants will be awarded in 2020 to TOP events in Croatia, which are the main motive for tourists to come to the destination. The call was issued with the aim of promoting Croatia as a tourist destination, strengthening the strength of the brand and creating a recognizable image of Croatian tourism, as well as product improvement and content development that extend the tourist season and increase traffic, especially in the pre- and postseason. Can other tourist boards join this action and make the same or similar promotion in their area, and thus at least a little help to local winemakers who are also directly affected by this situation? By the way, the vineyards of Zagreb County belong to the wine region Bregovita Hrvatska. They are located on elevated terrains, which are the slopes of mountains and lower mountains, which on their southern slopes have excellent conditions for the production of high quality grapes. You still get to react – it takes one call and one post on the social network. Among the most successful projects, county brands stand out – such as the Kingdom of Zelina and the Portuguese Plešivica. There are also three wine roads – Samoborska, Plešivička and Zelinska, while in the Ivanićgrad region bordering Moslavina, there is a “Land of Scarlet”. In a moment of emergency or crisis communication, the worst thing is not to communicate. While most tourism entities recycle old content, it is certainly commendable to see such initiatives and different communication. Small but important details that make a difference. Maybe these moves, like many others, will not make a significant difference, because realistically in this situation where tourism, as well as practically the whole economy, cares, there is simply no measure or action that will make a “miracle”, but it shows a sign of attention and how cared, which is a very valuable currency today. Also, another good move by the Zagreb County Tourist Board should certainly be pointed out. As there were excellent initiatives to open FB groups with a list of local family farms that sell products and deliver as well as the boom of opening web stores for the same, Zagreb County Tourist Board made an effort and gathered all e-markets in Zagreb County in one place. The Zagreb County Tourist Board, in cooperation with the famous GRIFFIN Sparkling Wines winery from Plešivica, has launched a “prize game” on its official Facebook page in which participants will have the opportunity to win a bottle of Griffin Dark Side champagne for the Easter table. e-MARKETS #kupujmolokalno In the coming days, more winemakers from the Zagreb winery will join this promotion, points out Ivana Alilović, director of the Zagreb County Tourist Board, such as winemakers from the Zelina Wine Road, Škrlet from Moslavina, wines from the Samobor area, etc.… Of course, this action will not sell hundreds of wines, but it certainly gives a positive example and a different way of communication, and thus the promotion of local products. According to county data, Zagreb County, with its 5 million vines planted on more than 900 hectares, is at the very top of the Republic of Croatia in terms of the number of winemakers, wine labels, wine roads and wine-growing and wine projects in general. The promotion lasts until Thursday (April 09.04), and you can find more details on the official FB page Zagreb County Tourist Board . An excellent move by the Zagreb County Tourist Board, since these moves promote local wineries, ie winemakers from the Zagreb County. The climatic characteristics of the Zagreb County area have conditioned the development of a typical continental assortment. These are the same varieties as in neighboring countries, and introduced in these areas a hundred years ago (mostly Chardonnay, Rhine Riesling, Pinot Noir, Gray, Black, Sauvignon White, Silvanac Green, Graševina). Many vineyards also grow old Plešivica varieties ( eg žuti plavec), in the Zelina area the original variety kraljevina, and according to Moslavina also the autochthonous škrlet. Of the international black varieties, portugizac, syrah, merlot, cabernet sauvignon are important. In the multitude of information and communication noise, it is good to have a list in one place. The Zagreb Tourist Board (TZGZ) has launched a campaign “From Zagreb’s windows ” on the Facebook page in the period from April 6 to 19, and invited fellow citizens to send their photos of Zagreb neighborhoods taken from their own balconies, windows and terraces. The goal of the campaign was to record what Zagreb’s neighborhoods look like when the people of Zagreb “open” the doors of their living rooms. You can see the virtual gallery here Cover photo: TZGZ / Branka Mihić_Novi Zagreb & Clement Senaratne_Radićeva The concert will be broadcast live on the official Facebook page of the Tourist Board. The first concert from the roof of the tourist bus this year was performed by Damir Urban in Rijeka, and now in the same way the Zagreb Tourist Board is organizing a concert of the Filmmusicorkestar group which will take place tomorrow (April 28.04) starting at 17.00. Filmmusicorkestar concert from the roof of a tourist bus As a result of the completed campaign, TZGZ has created a virtual museum on its LoveZagreb blog, which consists of more than 300 photos from almost all districts of Zagreb. The bus will depart from the Square of the Victims of Fascism, and will pass through the city center, more precisely through the green wave to Svačić Square. Then, after performing some of the greatest hits by Gabi Novak and Arsen Dedić, he will continue his journey to Španski and Mamutica, where he will perform melodies from the films Who Sings Evil Doesn’t Think, Only Kiss Once or Tell Why He Leaves Me. “The response was great and we are glad that, in the two weeks of the campaign, we collected a lot of interesting and beautiful photos. We managed to motivate our fellow citizens to find something beautiful in everything that has happened to us in the past month and a half and to show us their “view” of Zagreb. Equally, we hope that we have encouraged all those who have not yet visited us to include Zagreb on their travel list.”, Say the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb. From the roof of the tourist bus, a popular double-decker, the concert will be performed by the Filmmusicorkestar group, and the repertoire will include a set of the most beautiful and timeless Zagreb melodies from the movie screen.
Last week, Croatian tourist workers, caterers and entrepreneurs gathered through the Voice of Entrepreneurs Association decided to react in an affirmative way and send a positive message to the world that holidays in Croatia are safe.
