first_imgSix Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has announces plans to open its first resort in Switzerland in 2020, under a long-term management agreement with 1875 FINANCE, one of Switzerland’s premier finance companies.The 47–room Six Senses Crans-Montana is located in the canton of Valais, a prominent ski area just two hours by car or train from Geneva. Upon completion, the property will have two restaurants, a sun terrace and bar, retail space, spa specialising in alpine treatments, gym and fitness studio, pool and suspended relaxation area. Consistent with Six Senses’ sustainability focus, recycled, local materials will be selected by the architect and design teams and repurposed materials will be used in the manufacture of finishes including flooring, millwork and fabrics. Energy and water conservation also plays a key role in the project’s design.
