The Lady Pirates hosted the Lady Shiners of Rising Sun and came away with a 5-1 victory.Solid play and passing created many shots and runs for the host team. Maddi Hellmich and Kasey Moeller each scored two goals and Michaela Myers chipped in one. All three ladies had assists as well with Moeller netting two to her teammates. Keeper McKella Lynette made three save while allowing one goal off a direct kick.The defensive alignment for the Lady Pirates and the midfield did a great job of setting up the scoring opportunities all night.The Lady Pirates will be in action Thursday night as they travel to EIAC foe South Dearborn.Courtesy of Pirates Coach Mike Myers.
