On the tour, he is speaking on behalf of the Points of Light Foundation and the Volunteer Center National Network. The foundation encourages people from all walks of life to volunteer to solve serious social problems in communities. The Volunteer Center of Los Angeles matches volunteers with community agencies that can use their help. Annually, its 15 offices refer more than 60,000 volunteers to more than 2,500 agencies. LANCASTER – Painter Thomas Kinkade will appear Saturday at a benefit to aid the Assistance League of Southern California’s Volunteer Center of Los Angeles and the Points of Light Foundation. Tickets at $20 each are available at the Enchanted Presence shop in the Antelope Valley Mall. Enchanted Presence, a Kinkade dealer, will also provide two free tickets for every order for a new Kinkade limited edition artwork. Kinkade will appear from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Essex House Hotel and Convention Center, 44916 10th St. W.
