Since all of the Arghavan complex units are owned by the members of a particular family, the interior design was done using a specific physical plan. These spaces consisted of 4 separate units with 3 units of 170 meters and a duplex unit, a hall for celebrations and parties with storage rooms and facilities in the first basement, and a swimming pool and gym in the -2floor.  In addition to creating an intimate environment, special attention was paid to green space in order to gather together all members of the family.Save this picture!© Farshid NasrabadiSave this picture!South ElevationIn regards to the facade design during the design process, paying attention to urban landscape, green space and greenery stretch in the landscape, attention to detail design in an integrated structure, as well as the use of Iranian architectural concepts in the project were considered. Considering the employer’s requirements, paying attention to the needs of the residents and providing the necessary spaces, observing the separation of public and private spaces, providing the appropriate dimensions for each space, as well as controlling the light and privacy of living spaces was among the issues that should be considered in the design.Save this picture!© Farshid NasrabadiIn order to design the façade and to preserve the visibility and perspective, the transparent skin was the basic measure, and then the “FakhroMadin” pattern was used along with the concepts of Iranian architecture, such as creating intimacy, controlling the light and creating the shadow as an element in the interior design. The “FakhroMadin” pattern has been utilized in two sections of empty space with regular geometry. Hence, we tried to maintain this structure, and change the scale of the constituent elements to achieve a new model. The new model can be examined from a macro scale as a projection of the main aspect or from a micro-scale as semitransparent sheets.Save this picture!© Farshid NasrabadiSave this picture!Stair Section DetailThus the facade is divided into filled and empty sections. In the next step, it uses the FakhroMadin pattern in the full section of the second skin so that it controls the incoming light and shading from the inside out. In the following, by creating flowerboxes in the empty spaces, the greenery of the urban space stretches along the building and finally ended in the green roof of the project. Moreover, in order to coordinate with adjacent buildings, a series of vertical elements in the facades of the neighboring buildings were utilized to frame the facades in the facade, making it possible to coordinate with the urban street view. Finally, while trying to satisfy the employer as the main user of space, it was possible to create equilibrium and interaction between the use of traditional elements and a modern expression on the one hand, and the simplicity and impressionability of the facade interior elements on the other hand.Save this picture!© Farshid NasrabadiProject gallerySee allShow lessGreen Cloud / ZHUBO-AAOSelected ProjectsCity of Sky / WJ DesignSelected ProjectsProject locationAddress:Tehran, Tehran Province, IranLocation to be used only as a reference. Dark Star Orchestra To Play With Jerry Garcia’s Wolf Guitar In Boston This Week

first_imgOn Friday, Dark Star Orchestra had some special news for Boston fans with the announcement that lead guitarist and vocalist Jeff Mattson will be playing with Jerry Garcia’s iconic “Wolf” guitar during their upcoming show on Thursday at the Wilbur Theatre. Given that the band will have Wolf on hand, they intend to make use of their special gift for the evening. The group recently hinted to fans that they’ll be recreating a Grateful Dead show in Boston during which Jerry played the Wolf guitar.Dark Star Orchestra Taps Donna Jean Godchaux For Red Rocks DebutGarcia’s legendary Wolf guitar was auctioned off last June at the Brooklyn Bowl for a whopping $1.6M winning bid from Brian Halligan, the HubSpot CEO and co-author of Marketing Lessons From The Grateful Dead: What Every Business Can Learn From The Most Iconic Band in History. The guitar was auctioned off to benefit the Southern Poverty Law Center, with the previous owner matching the winning bid, making for a whopping $3.2M donation at the end of the night. The auction also served as the vehicle for an all-star performance billed as Joe Russo’s Friends With Benefits that saw Neal Casal, Scott Metzger, Tom Hamilton, and Cass McCombs all get the chance to play Wolf before it went to its new home. However, Wolf’s new owner, Brian Halligan, is clearly generous with his recently purchased prize guitar. In the time since, he’s lent out Wolf to a number of musicians, including to Joe Russo’s Almost Dead’s Tom Hamilton, who played it throughout a show in December. This tradition of generosity and keeping the music of the Grateful Dead alive and authentic will continue on Thursday when Jeff Mattson performs with the lauded instrument. You can snag tickets for Dark Star Orchestra’s upcoming Boston performance with Jerry Garcia’s Wolf guitar here.last_img read more

Apple iPad With Mini-LED Display, AirPods 3 to Launch in First Half of 2021: Ming-Chi Kuo

first_imgApple could launch its first iPads with Mini-LED display as well as the AirPods 3 true wireless earphones in the first half of 2021, according to the latest research note by highly-regarded analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of TFI Securities. The research note to investors focuses on Taiwan-based OEM Career Technology, which Kuo suggests will be a key supply chain partner of Apple for the upcoming product cycle. The new iPads and AirPods 3 are expected to go into mass production in early 2021, and could be launched in the first half of the year itself.Mini-LED display on the new iPadsAccording to a report by MacRumors, Kuo states that Career Technology will receive orders for certain components related to the manufacture of a Mini-LED iPad that will go into mass production in the first half of 2021. This means that the launch of the new iPad could be in the first half of 2021 itself; a March or April launch would not be difficult to envision.- Advertisement – Will Apple Silicon Lead to Affordable MacBooks in India? We discussed this on Orbital, our weekly technology podcast, which you can subscribe to via Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, or RSS, download the episode, or just hit the play button below. Mini-LED is a new display technology that offers many of the benefits of OLED, by using many individual LEDs to produce the picture in a similar manner to OLED displays. Although every individual pixel is not independently controlled, the technology functions in a similar manner, and is said to be less expensive to manufacture as well. Apple is expected to push Mini-LED display technology for many of its upcoming products starting with the iPad range in early 2021.Apple AirPods 3 expected to launch in 2021The report further states that Kuo also expects the Apple AirPods 3 to launch in the first half of 2021. The new true wireless earphones will have a different design to the Apple AirPods 2, with interchangeable ear tips and a shorter stem, just like on the AirPods Pro. However, the key differentiating factor here will be the lack of premium features such as active noise cancellation, which will maintain the AirPods Pro as the flagship product in Apple’s true wireless audio range.Career Technology is expected to receive component orders for the AirPods 3 in addition to the Mini-LED iPads, and will also likely benefit for any possible adoption of Mini-LED displays on the next iPhones as well. Kuo’s predictions point towards Mini-LED displays being adopted heavily by Apple in 2021, and the analyst has often been right with his research and predictions.- Advertisement –center_img – Advertisement –last_img read more
